Hi everyone - what's the best solution for dealing with Parallax scrolling sites with long pages? The client doesn't have the budget to break out great content into separate pages as they had just invested a lot of $$ into a shiny new and completely not SEO-friendly site. Found a lot of articles floating around with contradictory statements. Anyone has any experience with breaking out content on backend with tagging? Thanks!

Hi all: I have a question about href lang tags. My company launched a series of international sub-directories (i.e. company.com/ca, company.com/au, etc.). All pages have href lang tag implemented in the <head> section (before </head>). However, Google Search Console HTML improvements section picks up these sub-directories' meta data as duplicate content.

For example, Search Console says that company.com/ca/examplepage and company.com/au/examplepage have duplicate title tags and meta descriptions, even though both pages have href lang tags implemented as follows:

<link rel=alternate hreflang=en-CA href="http://www.company.com/ca/examplepage"/>
<link rel=alternate hreflang=en-AU href="http://www.company.com/au/examplepage"/>

Any idea on what might be going on? Thanks so much in advance!

Thanks all! Huge help. Do you think had we hosted these international sites on sub-domains vs. sub-folders, we wouldn't have run into this issue?

Hi all: As many of you already know Google now allows brands to add markup for the social profiles to be displayed in Knowledge Graphs (just in case - http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/brand-social-profiles-in-knowledge-graph/). I know that some of you posted last week how after adding markup, Google hasn't picked it up yet.

Anyway, I noticed that when it comes to hotels, Google doesn't pick up social profiles for any major hotels in the Knowledge Graph panel. Instead, you get links from travel sites such as Travelocity and Orbitz. Curious if by adding social markup you could influence this. Has anyone had any experience with adjusting/influencing Knowledge Graphs for hotels?

Hi all - interesting news about Expedia testing out Emoji in some of its pages title tags. Has anyone tried this with hotel clients?
Will be interesting to see if they do indeed improve click-through rate,

I was able to achieve the social media profiles for a small single location retailer, but not a single location hotel. Have you had any luck?
