I'll give Weather Up points for presentation. I liked the speakeasy ambiance and the creative cocktails, but the slow service really dampened the experience for me. I went here for happy hour with co-workers when it wasn't particularly busy, but it took at least 15 minutes to get our first drink order, and after that, our server didn't return in the remaining 45 or so minutes that I was at the bar. At that point I was running late to meet another friend, and I ended up having to go up to the bar to close out. I waited until the bartender seemed to be done serving the other customers at the bar, but he still made me feel like it was a huge imposition for me to close out and told me that the only way he could help me was if I could remember "exactly what I'd ordered" (I'd had one drink). I probably won't be back.

Went for brunch, generally okay, small overpriced portions, ~30min wait for food. Drinks were pretty solid

I love it. A very speakeasy atmosphere inside. The drinks are out of this world. Lots of seating outside as well. A great cocktail bar in town, don't miss out

Had a great time here during sxsw at the Billy Reid Shindig. Saw some great performers. The patio area had a perfect setup... plenty of makeshift bars, a food stand, portapotties, even an ice cream stand, a coffee stand, and a photo booth van. More than enough reasons for me to stay there all afternoon and get sunburned. Also, they are located right next to Veracruz All Natural. Check that place out as well.

Delicious fancy cocktails, great brunch options especially the French toast & duck! You can order the 'bigs guns' and share a dispenser of punch with your friends! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Loved it all!

I'd give this 2.5 stars if I could because the food and drinks we tried were good, but the service was ridiculously slow, and I mean slower than Europe slow. The place wasn't busy at all, so there was no excuse for it. I waited tables for years, so I'm pretty sympathetic when servers are busy. The sole bartender that night, who does most of the work in a place like this where drinks are complex and beautifully presented, was moving much faster than the servers. One of us actually had to go to the bar to pay the check. On another note, the cheese and charcuterie plate was delicious and the proscuitto melts in your mouth. I'd recommend just sitting at the bar.

Craft cocktails in a dimly lit room reminiscent of something that would be in The Great Gatsby? Yes please! I really enjoyed La Nina and Tipperary drinks. When the weather cools down this fall I would love to go back and sit on the patio. When I went recently it was just too damn hot to sit outside. This is a great date spot if you want to set the mood with dim lighting and suave drinks.

The day I came here the weather wasn't "up" but it still was uplifting just coming here. The interior is nice and can be best described as being in a Manhattan subway station with the tiles covering the entire ceiling. The interior lighting is dim but there was enough natural light coming through the windows that it didn't really matter. The outside courtyard is really nice and has a ping pong table if you feel like playing some rounds. The fried(?) almonds were pretty tasty as well as their charcuterie plate. To top that off, my group ordered several cocktails from this place--that's a testament to how good their drinks are. Cocktails are around the 10 dollar mark and their is a wide variety to choose from. I tried their Count Basy(?) that had a lemony flavor which tasted alright to me but the rest of my group was raving about it. The olive appetizer was a special touch that help bring out the flavors of the drink. I would definitely come back here just for the environment alone.
