Today, we celebrate the 100 year anniversary of him winning the most prestigious award in the world of art -- The Grand Prix de Rome -- which he won on July 18, 1914,

Kudos to Rithy Pahn for his 2014 Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Picture with his film "The Missing Picture." It is truly an extraordinary work of both history and cinematography. The Apsaras Arts dance troupe of Singapore has created a breathtaking homage to the art and heritage of Cambodia and India. The November 2013 Indian Festival of Esplanade will showcase their presentation as its opening performance.
