Great post by +Dave Llorens on why +Google+ is more than just a Facebook competitor...

"Most people believe it’s just another social networking service where all of our friends are supposed to join and share photos, status updates, and messages with each other. But it’s really not that at all"...

One of our favourite places in Toronto - really good value for fantastic food, great service, music and atmosphere. I always order the fish - lovely and fresh, all it needs is a squeeze of lemon. Also fantastic grilled calamari. Definitely go early to grab a table - although if you're not in a rush you can have a drink and people-watch.

Small but perfectly formed. Leslieville locals are spoiled for choice when it comes to coffee shops but Mercury definitely serves one of the best Americanos in Toronto. Also a great place to perch on a bar stool and watch the goings-on of Queen Street.

Recently moved to Leslieville and The Ceili Cottage has quickly become our favourite local. The food is fantastic - perfect Maritime oysters and peat-smoked Irish salmon; the cottage pie on Saturdays is delicious. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming and it's just a lovely atmosphere. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Quite possibly our favourite place to eat in Toronto; the quality of the ingredients is always outstanding and the staff couldn't be friendlier. They always play great music and, being from Scotland, I love the wee touch of nostalgia!
