Last week Peak Laboratories visited California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly)tec Environmental Engineering Department
and provided the undergrads educational seminars and labs highlighting the basic principles of continuous air mo...nitoring with process GC's.

We at Peak believe for some time now it is evident that it is necessary to educate our youth, as they are the future of tomorrow. This is another way Peak is not just your analytical supplier, but also your partner. See More

Air Products equipped their new facility with Peak Laboratories TCD's for their Doe Canyon project.
With end-users of helium facing critical supply shortages Air Products new project targets the extraction of helium from a naturally occurring underground carbon dioxide gas source. This project will use a new technology process cycle to produce pure helium from the CO2 stream. If you would like to know more about this process please read the article below.

The University of Southern Denmark for the first time have been able demonstrate the interaction between ocean currents and bacteria. This research also shows because of this interactions mass amounts of  Nitrogen gas is being produced in the Pacific ocean ultimately leading our oceans inability to absorb CO2. Read the article below to learn more.

Microscopic fungi that live in plants regulate the concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere. Part of the article posted below suggests that soil studies can establish relevant models and predictions to concentrations of future atmospheric greenhouse gases. This research is also extremely vital in the understanding of carbon cycles between land and air. Researchers around the globe are using gas chromatography to conduct such studies.
