I had seen this place before and never took any interest in it until I had a dinner with my coworkers there. This place is DELICIOUS! every single meat that they served us was so flavorful I can not pick which one was my favorite. The cold noodle soup is exquisite! I really enjoyed my visit here and if you are looking for great tasting meat that is worth the price, come here!

Thank you so much for coming by -- we can't wait to have you back! -Ryan & Park's BBQ Crew

One of the better places to go to for Korean food IMO. Their galbi tang is always spot on, BBQ is always delicious. Service is on point. I love the galbi tang here. The broth is so flavorful yet light. The galbi is boneless and tender. The ban chan's (side dishes) are also amazing... They have one of the best kimchi everrr!!! The taste is fantastic yet not overwhelmingly spicy. Goes exceptionally well with the galbi tang! A must try!

The place was packed, that was my only complaint. The food was incredible and the service was the best I ever had. I swear my waitress could read my mind, she brought napkins and extra plates before I even asked for it, and she was waitressing 3 other tables simultaneously!
Response from the owner - a year ago
Thanks for the shout out, Carlos! When BBQ is involved, there's really no such thing as too many napkins. We're happy to hear that you liked our place, though, and we look forward to welcoming you back for more sometime soon. Cheers, Park's BBQ Crew

Some friends and I were looking for a place in ktown that accepted reservations and we discovered that this is one of the few places that do. They are also very strict about their reservations; I don't know if people regularly try to pretend they had reservations when they don't or whatever but they were GRILLING (haha) me about our reservation info because I got there first but I wasn't the one who'd made the rez and there was some confusion over the name, etc. We finally got it figured out, but jeez, they were not going to give up a table for just anyone, apparently. Also, we knew they were a higher-end kbbq joint and were prepared for higher prices but was a little taken aback when we read on the menu that everyone in the party had to order at least one bbq item. That wasn't a problem for us, but what if you were with someone who was a very light eater and you just wanted to share something? Oh well, SOL. With those items out of the way, on to the food, which was very, very good. The quality, freshness, and preparation of all the items were exceptional. I was especially impressed with their beef "flower" meat--oh so buttery and tender, wow. Their marinated galbi was my 2nd favorite. Their selection of banchan included some items you don't normally see and were uniformly delicious. The service was friendly but rather forgetful; we had to ask numerous times for refills of certain things, which was annoying, especially when you're paying premium prices. The decor is nice but not all over-the-top fancy, and I was amazed at how crowded it got in a very short span of time. I guess that's why they're not kidding around with the reservations. Overall my friend and I had a good time, but this is definitely for splurgy occasions.

Parks BBQ is the best Korean barbecue restaurant in Los Angeles. They choose the best meats that include a selection of Kobe beef. However, their best dish is the Gochujang Jjigae. It may be the best Jjigae ever. I would give them a higher rating if their service was superior but they are no different from many Korean restaurants.
Response from the owner - a year ago
You can never go wrong with the Gochujang Jjigae! Thanks for taking a moment to share some love with us, Khee :) we look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers, Park's BBQ Crew
