Open 24 hours!!! I love the fact that if you're hungry late at night, BCD is there for you. On top of that, Korean tofu soup is one of my favorite things to eat. There's just something about how the soup comes out still boiling in the hot stone bowl. After you place your order, the waiter brings you about 6 Korean side dishes and a fried fish. The fish is slightly salty and quite tasty. Out of all the kimchi I've ever had, BCD's kimchi is my absolute favorite. It's the perfect mix of slightly tangy, sweet, and crispy. When your soup comes out, don't forget to crack the egg into it so it has time to cook while the soup is still boiling hot. Out of the different soups they offer, my favorite is the Dumpling and Beef Tofu Soup. The soup comes with 3-4 Korean style dumplings and pieces of beef. The soup also comes with a bowl of rice cooked in a hot stone pot. Although the wait staff doesn't speak English very well, they are very attentive when it comes to refilling your water and when asking for more side dishes. BCD thus far has been my favorite place to have Korean tofu soup. I just wish that they would open a location closer to where I live.

Probably the best bcd out of all the other locations. Fast, full of ppl, free parking, well vented, good service. Seasonal cold noodle. Short rib and soon tofu combo is awesome. Small dishes include small fish. Yelp Check in special includes up to 2 free drinks.

Fast, cheap, and easy. Came here after running a half marathon, so I was mentally hungry. I ordered tofu and spicy pork. And got tons of BANCHAN. BANCHAN: Very limited in selection compared to the other places, but it was unlimited so I didn't care. The potato salad was ok. I didn't like the raisins in them. The kimchi was good. TOFU SOUP: I ordered medium spicy but it was REALLY spicy. So all I could taste was spice, not the actual flavor. So I had to add some kimchi to add some kimchi flavor. SPICY PORK BBQ: It was ok. I think it had too much sauce in it. I saved it and gave it to the husband. He liked it. I think they just added too much sauce. Usually it's pretty good. SERVICE: Fast and attentive service. This place has great service. The workers are great. AMBIANCE: Standard and Clean PARKING: They have TONS of parking. IN KTOWN. This was great. PARKING!!! OVERALL, The service is great here, the food is just OK.

One thing I have learned about certain places that you cannot believe everything you hear. Ok, maybe I should elaborate a little bit. I'm sure everyone has been to the BCD Tofu House on Wilshire Blvd. Could I interest you in immediate seating? Service is actually good here where the Wilshire location, you're lucky if someone responds to your button pushing. We were seated, menus in hand, water requests on it's way and in this case, 1 hot tea. It's quite a simple menu, just point if you don't want to speak but indicate how spicy you want your tofu soup because that thing comes out piping hot!! I don't know what it is called but I really like the raw crab with the red marinade sauce you rarely see in some restaurants. We ordered that with our combination. Bulgogi or Kalbi, decisions decisions... I ordered the bulgogi and there was certainly enough meat on the sizzling plate to fall off if you don't look. Whether it be your friends grabbing a piece or a piece falling onto the table. Rice comes in one of those stones and after serving the rice, tea or hot water goes in for the sticky rice still remaining in the stone bowl. You always learn something each and every day so what I have learned today is about the rice with the tea or hot water in the stone bowls. I would rather drive another half mile away for better attentive service with fantastic food that will help end the night on a good note. My tummy is satisfied.
