Uppsala Multidisciplinary Center for Advanced Computational Science is using Bianca, a research system dedicated for analyzing sensitive personal data from large-scale molecular experiments.

To enable users to use graphical applications it was needed a full graphical desktop. Bianca uses "Thinlinc" (in webaccess mode only) with XFCE as desktop environment to enable users graphical environment. Bianca provides 3200 cores in the form of 200 dual CPU (Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3) Huawei XH620 V3 nodes with 128GB memory.
