As with all buffets you need to go during peak hours. We went at 5:30 pm on a Monday and it was fantastic. The staff was very courteous, the food was great and no one rushed us out. I would definitely recommend this place.

Dissapointed from all aspects except the quality. Considering its AYCE sushi the quality is good, however the good stops there. The staff is rude, the portions extremely small and they attempt to usher you out by taking away your plates and handing you the bill whenever they feel like it. Also extremely disappointed in the fact that they promote their appreciation of military members yet they will only discount the one serving members meal and not anyone else's, THIS INCLUDES THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY WITH THEM. Very dissapointed. Will not visit again.

perhaps it was an off night, yet quite unimpressive. the food not fresh nor appealing visually i wasted $35 plus tip on 11 rolls between 2 people. i felt dirty eating there and couldnt get out fast enough.

Fairly priced with a large selection of food. Not a very large variety of sushi, but certainly plenty of decent ones.

This is no Vegas buffet but Yukai is one of the best all you can eat Asian buffets I've ever been to! There were so many options to choose from. Crawfish, flounder, salmon, clams - all for me at the Chinese section! Red Snapper, salmon, tuna sashimi + dozen of specialty rolls and sushi continuously replenished - i must had eaten 3 normal orders of dragon rolls alone. They even offer made to order hibachi and LEGIT PHO - my husband was overjoyed. The cherry on top? the frozen yogurts - 4 flavors to choose form (or have all) - espresso, birthday cake, strawberry, vanilla + toppings. Yukai, you are just too much for my stomach not to love. Did I mention that they offer rotating coupons on their website (definitely check it out!) and 15% off for healthcare professionals (get your badge ready!)? With discount, my dinner was only $13 + tax and tip - all that awesome quality, tasty food for that price? unheard of! Service - plates were taken away immediately, our server was extremely friendly and warm - she even stopped by to chat + get to know us. Honestly, the saddest part about dining at Yukai is knowing that it is in Virginia beach. Save your stomach and your wallet- come to Yukai now!

I can't say we are big fans of buffet style dining, but we enjoyed our 3 times here during our vacation tremendously. The sushi variety and taste, the fish dishes, salads, fruits and dessert stations were outstanding in point of taste and freshness. It's located right next door to famous Captain George's Buffet we visited too and I have to tell you that you will save lots of money and skip lots of calories from fat by choosing Yukai. At least we did.
