My favorite restaurant in Little Rock. Be aware that this Brazilian cuisine is not the kind where waiters parade around the dining area with giant swords or hooks of meat. This is more traditional and down-home. The Panquecas de Frango are a must if you like chicken. The layered pie has a crust made out of crushed pecans. While I would normally roll my eyes at anyone raving about a crust, I have to rave about this one. It makes the pie. You can also try one of the seven classic cocktails of the world, the caipirinha, which is also Brazil's national drink. The Brazilian bakery next door provides wonderful baked goods for the restaurant. Definitely at the top of the list for romantic date destinations in all of Arkansas. Really, with this kind of food, they could compete well with other such places in the country. I have never been disappointed there.

I didn't know anything about this restaurant when I chose it. I live in Mountain Home and was down visiting LR. The food was great here. I had the crepes which were fantastic, My husband raved about the sea food in a dish which he had to spoon over rice. Our friends had the medallions of beef wrapped in bacon which were tender and delicious.. The cheesy rolls reminded me of English cheese straws. Again they were delicious. We will plan to eat here again. The Brazilian music made the atmosphere very authentic.

One of my favorite places in town. I've yet to order anything that hasn't been completely delicious, plus their caipirinhas are top notch. Everything feels very authentic.

This review is for the attached Rosalia's Family Bakery as the bakery does not seem to have a separate identity as far as Google is concerned. We took a long Sunday walk around Hillcrest today. It was mid-morning and coffee and a snack were desperately needed to kick off the walk. Luckily Rosalia's is open on Sunday! The ham and cheese Kolache was very tasty and I was lucky to get the last one. Coffee/espresso was just as good. Now that we know we can get some coffee and savory pastries before a long Sunday walk we'll be back.

I went to Cafe Bossa Nova last week for a coworkers birthday party. While there were 5 of us, the place wasn't extremely busy, so I would have expected service to be faster than it was, but it was sluggish at best. Perhaps it was just an off day as most people in my group said it wasn't normally like this, so I'll give it another chance. I ordered the PANQUECAS DE FRANGO and they were tasty, but I wasn't a fan of the Misto salad that came with it. Was it worth the $16, probably if I liked the salad, but since I did not, I would say it was a tad over priced for me. The iced tea also had a certain 'flavor' to it and I promptly exchanged it for a water. Having said that, the cheese bread was delicious and I couldn't have been happier with it. Overall, I'd give Cafe Bossa Nova a solid B in food quality and C in least for right now. I'll give it another try soon and re-rate.

Absolutely, hands down the best Brazilian food in town. One of the best restaurants in town, period. Fresh, authentic, friendly, and on point. This is not your chain type place. Don't expect that walking in. It's not american Brazilian. It's not going to taste that way. Again, AUTHENTIC. This place ROCKS!
