If there are any Connecticut writers here with books released in 2016, the Connecticut Book Awards are now taking submissions. I have some of the eligibility requirements and some other information, as well as links to still more relating to submission fees and how to actually submit.

The category for books for young readers includes illustrators as well as authors. Then there are categories for fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
