Today, we're happy to kick off our education channel on YouTube with our ultimate guide to flying a Canon C100 on the Mōvi M5. The Movi is one of our favourite filmmaking tools and our inboxes are constantly flooded with questions about our setup, processes, thoughts, and how our storytelling has evolved since introducing it into our workflow.

In this video, we cover everything from our configuration to flying the C100 Mark II, and how we achieve some of the shots we have become known for.

As we gear closer and closer to kicking off our wedding season, we wanted to premiere our Location Tag series. In it, we'll be blogging the special places that make doing what we do easier. These featured spaces provide a beautiful setting and an unmatched atmosphere for the events in our films to unfold, allowing our couples to focus on their celebration and us on our craft.

What better way to start the series than with The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto? Head on over to the blog to find out why we love this space!

It feels weird to try and pinpoint exactly when we met Shealyn or Michael, because in all honesty, although it might only amount to a handful of times, we feel like we knew them deeply before we all went out for tacos and drinks. By that point, they had shared so much with us about their day, their plans, their story and relationship, that we felt like we were sitting down with longtime friends.

That passion translated into their day, and thus their film, where every single element reflected this beautiful couple. Whether it’s Marcel’s eloquent poem during their colourful autumn ceremony at Evergreen Brickworks or Brittany’s hilarious recounting of one of Shea and Michael’s first dates, these intimate narratives lend this story so much personality and the slower pace helps transport the viewer into every scene.
This is a magical one.

We instantly knew, from our very first meeting with Sarah and Robert, that their day would make for a stunning film. Their love and excitement was so evident, their laughter infectious, and their plans so cinematic. Let's just say that they had us at "our ceremony will be held on an old church that sits on top of a hill overlooking Lake Rosseau", and when they told us a few weeks before the wedding that they'd be hopping on a boat directly after the ceremony for a scenic ride to their reception, we were completely over the moon.

This is a film of beautiful people, beautiful moments and beautiful landscapes, each playing off each other to elevate the whole. And also, slow-mo. 🐢✨

You may remember us sharing this styled shoot at District 28 Events earlier in the year, and having just shot our last wedding of the season this past weekend, it feels pretty surreal to be sharing it again as it was one of our first projects in the spring.

Today, it was featured on Wedding Sparrow and we couldn't be more thrilled to have been a part of this talented team. Blush & Bowties, ARTIESE, Bespoke Beauty Inc, Angelica Sala, Coriander Girl Toronto, LoversLand, Morgan Kohan, Silk & Willow
