Enjoyed the focus on student driven learning in this post but I have comments / questions +Richard Wells

"To only learn online is to miss out on the crucial social aspect of learning and problem-solving. To ignore the important impact that technology has had on the personalisation of our world is equally dangerous."

While the internet does allow greater students agency, is it the key game changer when we look at society and education? I would suggest it is actually the social aspects of the online world that you suggest would be missed out on in a fully online approach, that are. We live in a connected world, a "network society" where an internet connection can bring people together across the planet. The impact that this will have on education will be significant.

And is there a way individuals "learn best"?

Just asking ;-)
