The Natchez Trace is another original road - one that has a real 'feel' to it. The past, or evidence of it, however, is long gone, only the ghosts are left.

First a week for the 'evildoers' to surrender and then the 'final solution' - which is the same old solution; - high explosives and shrapnel. Hopefully without Putinic 'interference'.
Then the gaz crisis - which isn't really a crisis - until next fall.
And then there's the economy. It might be easier to continue the 'war on terror' to distract the sheeple, for they could bring down a government when they find out how they're going to be paying for all that 'support' they've received. At best, clearing the Maidan with teargas and gunfire might 'sell' in the west, but it would be no good for domestic policy or the optics of 'something new'.

The really unjust aspect of all this for Canadians are that we are left to adjudge someone's guilt or innocence based on media reports. Khadr was charged with a number of crimes - some of them specially contrived for him. He was never convicted on the evidence, for any evidence against him was never presented and tried by the court. He 'confessed' in return for some promised leniency, an earl release and repatriation to which our government raised no objection when it should.
Now he's back in Canada, but is given no benefit of his rights under the Charter because he was convicted under laws, that even those who tried him, admit are illegal under their own Constitution.
If it would make those looking for more punishment happy, why not try him again, in a Canadian court? Surely we can find some Canadian - or even international - law he broke.

Do any of you developers know anything of an entity called 'mediawebmonster.com' that seems to have hijacked my blog?
