Hi! We would like to present our 5-channel Infrared Remote Control System.
The transmitter sends encoded information by using infrared light pulses. The receiver detects the light pulses, which are processed to retrieve/decode the information they contain.
Both transmitter and receiver use microcontrollers. The receiver decodes commands to control a set of 5-relays, thus implementing a 5-channel infrared remote control system.
The current consumption of the transmitter is around 35nA and 20mA, during sleep and transmitting, respectively. This way, for normal use, 3xAAA batteries will last quite some years.
