2015 the year of Manifestation!

After traveling for a while in South East Asia, Susana and I knew our new home would be in a warm tropical country. Soon after arriving in Laos this decision immediately opened the door for synchronicity and for manifestation to unfold. We bought a piece of land!!!

Sacred Place is the new name of the holistic center we are now building here Vientiane, the capital of Laos. Today we have initiated phase 1, and are currently working with a team of professional architects and engineers to design the architectural drawings of the Holistic Center.

“This permaculture designed landscape is a ‘living’ educational workspace, where the ethical design principles of permaculture are taught in very pragmatic and hands on way. So much so, that when participants leave, they not only know how to design healthy sustainable permanent landscapes based on the permaculture principles, but actually have hands on experience in several aspects of the design process.” – Luke Hancock

At this moment Sacred Place has begun the architecture design of Sacred Place initiated the design and construction for a new holistic space in Laos. the main buildings and green areas. The design of the landscape is  based upon the main design principles of permaculture. There exists a comprehensive design strategy that dictates not only how but when certain actions should take place with regards to for example cover crops, soil creation and food forest planting. The initial design will be implemented within a one year period, however, it will take 2-3 years for some of the fruit bearing trees to grow their first fruits. The main building is located at the top of the land facing East with a shaded patio leading onto the garden. There is a main Pagoda retreat space to be used for teachings, workshops and meditation. A natural swimming pool will be designed and can be used by visitors throughout the programs.
