I have used them in the past and know the owners. Unfortunately some of the negative reviews on here where posted by competitors. My experience has been that they are a very prompt company usually showing up the same day.

My Furnace died in the middle of the night. The techs from OutToday showed up the next morning and used a machine to check the inside of my furnace. I was able to see on the screen of the machine that my furnace was cracked and possibly leaking poisonous gases into my family home. I was so glad the had an infrared camera that could see inside my furnace. I had them put a new one in it was done the same day.

I got a super high estimate. When I told the technician I would like to get a few more estimates he began to insult me and said "I knew you couldnt afford this" when I asked him to leave me the estimate to compare prices in case they do have a good price he replied "why? your not going to call us back anyways" he then proceeded to snatch the invoice and estimate and headed out the door. He didnt say thank you (which I was not expecting) or good bye. He did not even turn around to say he was leaving. He left my furnace open and everything on the floor including his tools! he then called me several times the next day trying to recover his tools... what kind of place has employees like this?! I wanted to tell him I dont have his tools but I didnt want to drop down to his level. Oh and he didnt say thank you for recovering hundreds of dollars worth of his tools.... never again Out Today...

Superior staff in all regards. Made me a quick appt for today (Electrician was here in an hour, as they said he would be) They have a reasonable diagnostic fee (it was $109) which can be refunded if you hire them. It does cost the company money send a journeyman electrician, at truck (gas, etc0 and their time to look at the job and write up a price. The Electrician was very courteous, and high skill as well as the end product/work being truly beautiful visually when completed. I am an older female with a construction background. I know alot of about all aspects of construction. I have had many experiences with that I call "have hammer, will travel" jerks that are disrespectful of women property owners. This electrician was attentive to what I wanted done, and his personality and superior skill were impressive. I asked for additional business cards to give to others to refer this company. I could not be more satisifed and impressed. I took the time to write this review as a result of being impressed and wanting other to know what a superior experience I had. Thank you Out Today, and I will be using your services again.

I called to get an estimate on running a wire 3'-4' through my garage wall. I was told it would be $150 to come out and look at it. I said that's more than I'd expect to run a wire a few feet through the wall and she said "Ok..." and hung up on me. Poor.

I've used them twice now for drain cleanouts (main and kitchen branch) in a rental unit, and they always do a great job. On time, clean, fast (taking into account known problems with the plumbing), and the price was right. Seriously- they were ~1/6 the price of what one of the local, family-run plumbing/electrical places wanted to charge. I just about choked on the other quote!
