Good news for Twitter users - Twitter relaxes 140 character limit.
What won't be counted towards the 140 character limit:
1) Media attachments - e.g. images and videos
2)@names in select replies
What will be counted: Links

Linkedin's list of top online marketing experts in #Bangalore area has me in the second place. I am perhaps the only one on the list who offers 360 degree, end-to-end online presence services. Right from concept and branding to building a website and marketing it (inc. PPC, Adwords and Youtube).

3 reasons to reduce the File Sizes of Your Images

1) Most consumers wait about 3 seconds for a website to load on a desktop or laptop....and about 5 seconds on their mobile device. After that, they are gone. Perhaps to buy from your competitor.
2)Amazon found that if their pages slow down by 1 second, they lose $1.6 billion a year.
3) Google uses page load time as a factor in their ranking algorithm.

I've always believed social media can do good. Latest proof - Chennai.

Agree, social media is a powerful tool, and it can do good or bad, depending on how one uses it. While the most active ones on social media are either online personalities or wannabes who constantly seek (and get) approval from the same small circle on a quid-pro-quo basis, there are also the silent good samaritans who step up to the situation, because they want to do the right thing. They are the ones who are actually driving to Chennai to help, knowing that the petrol bunks and ATMs enroute are empty and useless. That they might be cut off from their own family and friends when network connectivity is gone. And these are the smaller issues. Not to mention people opening up their homes to strangers. Cooking meals for tens and hundreds of people. Volunteering onsite.

Thanks to all you nice people who have the courage and will to get up and go. Thanks for the wonderful stuff you are doing right now, and for setting the right example. I'd rather look at you and have faith than get frustrated by the selfie'sh people who are using this calamity as another occasion to post pics, where the props are maggie and monaco biscuits.

Gururaj's idea is to help e-commerce players overcome the problem of failed deliveries, a pain point for most e-tailers globally, making the last-mile logistics less complicated.
