I will describe (a) a series of dye based materials with "plug-and-play" capabilities to allow for suitable tuning of the electronic properties, and (b) how these developed materials were applied in organic solar cells.
I went to the grocery store and bought some groceries, primarily sandwich stuff. Once I got back to my apartment, I made a turkey sandwich with dijon mustard which, according to the container, was "fine et forte". I took a bite and a half and nearly choked on my own tongue. It was so spicy that I had to take all the sandwich stuff out and put it on two new pieces of bread. Now I know that "forte" means "strong," or "tear inducing" in mustard terms.
