Food was ok. Loved the dessert. Connor our waiter was nice but gave us the wrong check and we were over charged by at least $20! I didn't realize until we got home so yes it is partly our fault but should be reimbursed. Also we we're asked 3 times why we we're there that night when we made a reservation and told them it was our anniversary. Also we're seated right by the kitchen so it was loud the whole time. Not impressed at all...

The melting pot was definitely a good experience! The server was great and the food was very delicious. It is quite spendy and the menu practically makes you get the 4 course meal but for a once a year, or just a one time celebration it is definitely worth it to experience.

We have gone on New Year's Eve for the last two years. Last year was great! They had a fixed menu but it was a decent price and they gave you all the upgraded plates (lobster for the meat course and extra stuff on the desert tray). This year was even more expensive but included a bottle of sparkling wine so we were excited. I had two big complaints this year: 1) We did not get seated until 45 minutes past our reservation time which ruined the rest of our plans for the night and 2) they did not give us the upgraded menu items. Really? You're charging more but giving us less? And another thing, we had a coupon from the fondue club for free chocolate covered strawberries to take home and we did not get them, even after requesting them twice. For paying that amount of money they did not treat us well.

Before I decided to come here, looked up reviews for this place. I found a video on YouTube and the video was like a 5 minute commercial on how kids will love this place because of the interaction and that people will stop using their electronics to eat here. Well, I don't know about other people but the food took kinda long to actually prepare and cook that I was constantly on my phone.

AMAZING! Our waiter was very knowledgeable and professional, did a great job! We did the four course meal and each course was to die for. We were seated in small booth with a curtain, candle on table, it was very romantic. Make sure you give yourself a couple hours so you can slowly enjoy all of the food. Well worth the money. Drinks were great too. New favorite date spot for sure!

Not worth it. I spent almost $200 for my girlfriend and I to have the four course meal and two rounds of drinks for her birthday. I made reservations to do the $25 birthday package. Upon arriving we check into the hostess stand she asks who's birthday we are celebrating and wishes my girlfriend a happy birthday. While we wait for the hostess to grab our menus the other hostess is on the phone selling and going through the birthday package to another customer ruining any surprise of the evening. Fine we get our seat the server is friendly but very impersonal. She has the same speech for every table that was on either side of us. No real complaints about the food, but nothing I need to have again. It is a good place to sit around and socialize but you can do it at home or Perkins for a lot cheaper. I called and asked to speak with a manager when I got home and her response was sorry but where else is a hostess supposed to do her job? (I wish I didn't call) I said ok thank you and ended it at that. Maybe just a bad evening or bad location? My recommendation if you are trying to take your significant other out for a memorable evening (in a good way) for that kind of money go across the street to Manny's steakhouse get two good steaks and split a bottle of wine. Learned my lesson on 09/08/2014

I went here with some friends this Sunday and it was one of the most fun dining experiences we've had! Being in college, spending money on eating out is a huge treat but the experience was definitely worth the price. This is a place to come if you're looking to have fun while you eat. The food was tasty and the portions weren't huge which was great since we wanted to enjoy dessert without feeling stuffed. Our server (Zach) was excellent and very friendly, his great service topped off the experience. Thanks Melting Pot for making our Sunday night great!
