The 2014-2015 Club year is fast approaching. The first program of the year will be a special one. It will celebrate the Camera Club’s 100 years of existence. Lonnie Schmidt, Mike Rudman and Jim Reynolds have created a special program - “100 Years Through The Viewfinder”.

This program will cover the history of the St. Louis Camera Club from 1914 to 2014. It will include a history of cameras, film, prints and digital imaging. World events, prominent photographers and their images will be shown. Winning images from members of the St. Louis Camera Club will be in the program. The program will include images taken in the early 1900's around St. Louis by Oscar C. Kuehn, the first President of the St. Louis Camera Club.

Don’t miss it – Wednesday September 3rd at the special time of 6:45pm. — at Ethical Society of St. Louis, The 2014-2015 Club year is fast approaching. St Louis Camera Club presents world renowned National Geographic Photographer and Canon Explorer of Light Sam Abell on March 29, 2014 from 9am to 5pm at the Maritz Campus in Fenton, MO.

Our next meeting on Wednesday Feb 19th consist of a double Nature presentation by Alex Wild. He will present "Lighting a Small World: Off-camera Flash for Better Insect Photographs" and "How to Photograph Uncooperative Insects". Alex's website may be found at http://www.alexanderwild.com/
