Took our son to see the gardens during Winter time and had a wonderful trip seeing the displays with the butterfly's as the real treat flying around and actually landing on your finger tips! It was very cold outside and wearing a jacket inside is a mistake due to the warmth for the jungle experience. The outside gardens were open, but with Snow still on the ground, we could not see any trees, flowers or blooms. So I guess we will make another hour long trip to go experience this at a later date, as there is so much to see outside too, it will be worth it!

Nice, peaceful place to spend a few hours. Tons of plant variety, and lots of different styles of gardens. The glasshouse rainforest and butterfly conservatory is very cool.

Nice first time visit. We came after work so we only had a couple hours to walk around. Indoor gardens are very nice. Nice cafe, decent bottled beer choices. Would be nice if there was more outdoor lighting in the gardens, it was a moderately warm night, but too dark to see much. Definitely plan to go back for the Christmas lights and then again in the spring for a day visit.
