Perseverance, Patience, and Passion…the recipe for success

No matter what your circumstance is, no matter what your situation is, always believe in yourself. Do whatever it takes. Don’t give up.” http://atlantainstituteofaesthetics.com/juggling-lifes-responsibilities/

The Advantage of Smaller Schools...
Young people need an education that will provide them with meaning, hope, courage, and zest, as well as information and skills. Large institutions, might be particularly ill-suited to this type of education.

The Cure Is in the Kitchen
A trip to the #MayoClinic reveals the surprising future of #medicine.
There are a lot of reasons why people visit the Mayo Clinic, most of which have something to do with heart surgery or various other medical emergencies. I traveled there recently to learn how to cook barley risotto.
Thankfully modern medicine may be catching up with ancient wisdom, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” -Hippocrates

Partners in Research:
Emory University and Atlanta School of Massage
Emory University is conducting research to investigate the use of massage after cancer treatment — and they need your help.
Are you a cancer survivor that has used massage to alleviate symptoms related to your cancer treatment?
If you are not a cancer survivor but know someone who used massage to alleviate symptoms related to cancer treatment, please forward this message to them.

The Emory University Department of Psychiatry is conducting research to investigate the use of massage after cancer treatment.

If you are a cancer survivor, and you have used massage during or after your cancer treatment, we would like to ask you a few questions. We will use the information gathered in this survey to develop a research study designed to investigate the potential benefits of massage in cancer survivors.

No personal identifying information will be gathered in this survey and the information you provide will be completely anonymous.

The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.

If you are willing to provide information regarding your use of massage after cancer treatment, we would greatly appreciate your participation. Thank you!
