Hello I've had a look on here but can't find a post. I just got my Nexus 5 yesterday and the screen is noticeably 'warmer' looking than my nexus 4 which was a cold almost blue feel to it. I not very fond of this but its by no means yellow. Is it just the way it is with Nexus 5 or could I have a faulty unit? I did Google it but it seems like a widespread issue and debate over if it should/shouldn't be like this but no real answers. Any advice? Thanks.

Thanks for your replies. Hmm I may be brave, but might just put up with it. One thing I do notice is the nexus 4/7 is like an icey white. And the nexus 5 while it is warmer, the colours are much more vibrant. Its probably me just being fussy ;-p

I've been wanting a chrome book for a while now. I was quite looking forward to getting the C720 but was quite disappointed that, in the UK its only 2GB. I had a go on one today and thought it was quite fast, except when I tried to play a HD 720 youtube it was quite jerky. I wasn't sure if this was the poor WiFi in the shop or the chrome book, does the lack of 4GB really a big deal? I don't want jerky playback! ;-)

Honestly, I don't even think Acer is selling the 4gb anymore.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I had one of my chromecasts plugged into my TV's USB 'services' port, and it works fine. But I've just read the instructions and it says not to do that, does anyone know why? I've not noticed any negative effects at all. ;-)

My TV will go into service mode if you plug anything into the service port and would be non-functional (because it is expecting firmware updates).

I can't think of any others! Now the test is to see which Newcastle city centre has more of: Greggs or Ladbrokes ;)

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, sorry if it has. I really wish they would allow multiple Google music connections, such as what the nexus Q was. Or its it just my chrome cast? Anyone know know if this is going to be added?

Sadly I think one of my chromecasts has died! It has been working perfectly, then I went away for the weekend and took it with me. When I returned it would not set up using my nexus 4, but then it would on nexus 7. A few days later I'm finding it will only load the load screen of whatever app I'm using. Then I get a timeout error. I have turned it off and on, done a factory reset several times but I just can not get it to work. My other chromecast works perfect, so it cant be my router :-(

Well it's alive! My chromecast randomly started working again! :-) both still have occasional frame rate issues on netflix, especially in films but other than that they now work fine :-)

Hello, I managed to pick up two chromecasts when I was in NYC last week. I live in the UK. They both work really well except for 1 thing. If I have a playlist of YouTube videos waiting to be cast, after the 7th video (song) the 8th videos header shows up, but the video does not play. It does this on both chromecasts. Is this normal? Not sure if its a licence thing in UK or not, but I can't find anyone mentioning this anywhere. Thanks

Okay another problem I'm now getting is that YouTube videos have started stuttering, they never used to. Netflix and google movies work flawlessly, its just you tube, again on both chromecasts I have. You tube server problem maybe?

It streams fine on my PC and tablet, and some videos play fine.

Good value, rooms are small but not too small, clean and well decorated. Shower could have been better but opted for relaxing baths instead. Staff were helpful and friendly with the exception of one receptionist, who was just a bit blunt in her manner. Windows could do with better sound proofing. Would stay here again!

So many staff standing round talking yet they only have 2 out of 6 tills going? Took half an hour to buy clothes. Surly if they had more on the till's they could get people in and out quicker and make more money from the people waiting outside? I seen a jumper on display that I liked but couldn't find it, asked for help from a group of talking staff, but was just given a list of places to go look. If you think working for A&F means the customers are beneath you, then you've missed the point.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September, lovely setting, run by a very nice English couple. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. Facilities are good and even have a chest freezer for your food/water. Only negative was the pool could have done with a clean after a busy season, although we were assured it was fine, just sediment. Will definitely go again.

Always go here for a stop on a bike ride, nice beers and food on weekends. No food during the week though!
