The chicken gorgonzola is divine and so is the rosemary bread! The service leaves much to desire as we have been 6 times and have had very very slow service, but it's friendly.

If you want fantastic food and service, drive to Kuna for this gem! Favorites include the plethora of $1 street tacos. The asada and carnitas is to-die-for. Service is impecable and not even CLOSE to the one in Garden City. Always packed too.

We decided to try out Lucky Palace since it was a little closer to home than our typical place and we were really hungry. They were very pleasant over the phone. Upon arrival to pick-up our order, we forgot our coupon and the waitress even tried to find one for us in the phone book. Very sweet and excellent service. When we got home, to eat the food, we were disappointed. We ordered the pork fried rice, pork chow mein, sweet and sour chicken, and fried shrimp. It was all average in flavor sometimes even bland. The shrimp was hot, crispy, not heavily battered, and not too greasy. The rice was decent but not too flavorful. The sweet and sour chicken was ok. The chow mein however just tasted like celery and msg. The packets of soy sauce were terrible. I've heard that the more authentic dishes here are terrific but if you want some americanized Chinese, Twin Dragon is your best bet in Boise.

Twin Dragon is a local staple in Boise for classic Americanized Chinese food. The decor is severly aged and beat up but it adds to it's charm. The service is more like a truck-stop where they are friendly and a little grungy but very pleasant. Tonight, we decided to try out another place closer to our house that had great reviews and we were sorely disappointed. We live pretty far from Twin and we still make the drive for the food the last 15 years. At Twin you get complimentary hot tea which is yummy. We get the typical dishes like fried rice, chow mein, mandarin chicken, egg rolls, and fried shrimp. All are exceptional! The flavors are on-spot and of course not light on the sodium so it's a cheat meal. The portion sizes are HUGE and I can usually share one entree with someone else. The fried shrimp are heavily battered and greasy, but guiltily tasty. This hole-in-the-wall is the go-to place for cheap and tasty Chinese in Boise. Looking for authentic Chinese? Probably elsewhere.

I went to Vegas for my first time in August and we stayed in an adjoining suite with a city view. We were greeted by the high tech room panel, a beutiful view of the strip, and a very comfortable bed! The bathroom was immaculate and we used the tub to soothe our aching feet every night! Jean Phillipe patisserie has an amazing turkey croissant sandwich that I enjoyed daily. American Fish has a great happy hour with the lounge mennu being all $5 and Tapas has a variety of plates that are $10-20. Of course when your on the strip in a new hotel, you will pay a little more BUT you can venture not that far out and find great things. The service was fine but we didn't run into any hitches and I cannot comment on the Casino because I only gambled for about 5 minutes! We are going back this weekend for my bachelorette party and it will be a blast! OH be sure to take the free tram over to the Bellagio and check that out and the fountains of course!
