So here's an unexpected way to kill a flu virus - frog slime. #Emory researchers have discovered that secretions from the skin of a frog from southern India can kill the H1 variety of influenza viruses. Frogs' skins were known to secrete peptides that defend them against bacteria. But this discovery suggests that the peptides represent a resource for antiviral drug discovery as well.
