Ok, so I've finally decided to get into Bitcoin seriously. I have a wallet on Carbon Wallet, and I was wondering if anyone would like to trade with me.

What secure BTC wallets are there? I want to start a wallet, but I'm worried about getting hacked and losing all my money.

You should turn it on.  This is the biggest step you can take to securing your Bitcoins.  It is vital.

It encrypts your wallet.  From the user point of view it is like adding a password to your wallet (everytime you send money, you'll have to enter a password).  But what it really does is more powerful than just a simple password.

It uses that password (called a key) to scramble your wallet file and make it completely unreadable to anyone who lacks the key to it.

Post #3. Thank you to everyone helping me out with this! Keep spreading the word, and I'll keep up the information. Also, I'm taking requests on my Unsene page about what I should put in my blog, and I can take requests here as well!

Hi. I recently started a blog on google+, and it would be awesome if I got more support. Even the occasional comment helps!

With an exchange value of 122 usd, anyone with mt. Gox is doing good. BTC has been on a nice, steady rise.

Does it cost anything to get BTC added to your Wallet?

Think of bitcoin as a currency, like the US Dollar or the Euro, because that's exactly what it is. You can buy/sell/trade them just like normal money, except for the fact that they're taxed or controlled by the government since its a global free-market currency. Currently the exchange rate with the US is 1 BTC / 117.05 USD
