For those who know a great deal about #ClimateChange, like my friend, climate scientist, Peter Kalmus, watching the progressive human suffering and damage to our biosphere can be profoundly painful.

Our world is going to hell in a hand basket; almost literally so, with #ClimateChange!
Nonetheless, for me, it is comforting to have a trustworthy news source, THE WEEK, putting this issue front and center. Once enough of us catch on, we can begin to work together!

Thank you Dr. Hyman! Thank you for leading with #climatechange! Thank you for being a doctor of all things! When the dots are not connected, we are lost! #FunctionalMedicine is an important part of the way forward, not as yet another profit motivated industry, but as a system that helps connect us all! Imagine!

Vitamin D

Background Interest in vitamin D has increased during the past 2 decades, with a corresponding increase in laboratory testing of 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D]. The vast majority of specimens tested display normal or deficient levels of 25(OH)D; concentrations rarely fall in the potentially toxic range.

* My Note:very common deficiency and rare toxicity. *

"at what point should climate denial by those in high office be treated as a crime against humanity? If someone says “I don’t believe in gravity” then pushes you off of a cliff, have they committed a crime?" - Peter Kalmus, Climate Scientist
