Today, Google+ just launched brand pages for businesses! Read the official blog here: http://bit.ly/uslK6C

This has me thinking back, to the day Google+ launched (and before I used it), I immediately thought, "there's no unique URL?" It's called called Google+?! You can't have a + in a URL! How are you going to create a distinct brand out of that, like they did with Gmail?" In short, I thought Google had made a mistake. About an hour into using it, I realized otherwise, as my first Google+ post indicated: http://bit.ly/m4rLFS

This Fast Company article has a short interview with Robert Wong, the Executive Creative Director of Google Creative Labs. In it, he says that everyone knows that Google's mission is "to organize the world's information" but with Google+ changes that "and puts you in the middle of it.. everything changes when your in the middle of that information... " with today's launch of pages for brands and businesses, you can see how this is evolving.

In this video below, you see a demonstration of Google+ "direct connect" and easy way to search for a businesses Google+ page via Google search.

Does anybody know a way to integrate two Google+ accounts? I am going crazy here :)

Last week was interesting in many ways...but reviving the #OtherEsteem Wednesday stream on Twitter was GREAT! THANKS to all who made it possible. I LOVE inspiring invitations to value others more!

This pic I took inside Olafur Eliasson's - Din blinde passager in Copenhagen's Arken Museum. It was a wonderous and unique sensorial experience to enter that tunnel of light, fog and breathtaking color! As adults, we stumbled in, hesitated...every child I met gasped, then ran excitedly! It's not that the picture captures the exprience, but that it brings everything right back to me...awesome!

Having to ADD an entire group of people before you decide if they are worth keeping or even SEE what they post is not ideal — but if we can see the stream of the circle before we add its people, we can decide what to keep from it in no time. Once you watch the video below you'll see what I mean. #ViewThroughMyWindow is a better way. How-to video below (starts out gray but gets fixed moments in).

I am INTERESTED in your shared circle but I very likely may want to pick-and-choose quickly only the people with content that I feel is relevant to me. This step-by-step video shows how to easily absorb shared circles in a more efficient way without getting overwhelmed with the extra people you don't want that eventually clog-up your stream.

These are better ways but we need Google+ staff to know we want them. Feel free to share and comment if you have insights regarding this. Promote the idea + teach people this technique. Maybe we can make a difference. Thanks!

The tedium of the current system doesn't NEED to be there, its an artifact of the current implementation. I think the way shown in the video is much more usable especially if Google+ makes it visible automatically without all these add/remove steps.

Interesting Creativity Mindset from Jonathan Fields to promote his Uncertainty book. It showed me a few areas where I might want to make some changes. You?
