We invite you to experience the wine bounty of Bella Italia. Enjoy one of our tasting flights, or experience the wonder and evolution of a full bottle as it opens to express nuance and subtlety in the glass. Most importantly, see what the excitement is all about!

The party starts in June and lasts through August, and each month will be celebrated with a special menu feature, exclusive to the huge outdoor bar in front of the Charles Hotel.

If you love oysters, this is the event for you.  Eat as many as you want because we'll be shucking oysters by the bushel and we won't stop till they're gone.

Located in the courtyard of the Charles Hotel, our restaurant evokes the simple style of the original Legal Sea Foods that was nearby in Inman square, Cambridge. In warmer months, our outside patio reels in those who choose the fresh seafood and fresh air combo. Or rock the boat at our downstream Terrace Bar in the lower atrium of Charles Square. It's a popular lure in season, open daily from mid-April to mid-October.

Parking: our validation will net you savings at two area garages. Park before 5pm for discounted rates and after 5pm for a $6 maximum rate at the adjacent Charles Square Garage. Or park for $12 before 5pm on weekdays and $8 after 5pm on weekdays and weekends at the nearby University Place Garage, 124 Mount Auburn Street.

Don't order the Baked, Stuffed Shrimp Casserole! I took my daughter to dinner at Legal. She ordered that dish. It is all graham crackers - really! Legal Seafoods cooking mushy graham crackers and tough shrimp. Terrible experience!

This review is dedicated to the patio. Some may not love it, but I think it's one of the best around. Spacious seating, not too crowded, consistent table service, tasty cocktails (love the cucumber one!!) and you can lazily order pita chips and really delicious hummus! Great summer spot for after work drinks!

Bad service, food is ok but too cheesy, one cannot taste the seafood well. Shrimps with big rock of salt in it. We ordered more bread and it NEVER came ! Overall, it is ok but really poor to taste good seafood.

Best seafood ever. Oysters were perfect. Pricey but you get what you pay for. Legal is a fixture in Cambridge and will always be my go to seafood place. I've been visiting since the mid 1970s

Poor decor, poor presentation, and outrageous prices. The food was mediocre. It basically was a diner.

The restaurant resembled more of a factory than a fine dining establishment: mediocre meals were churned out without thought or care, the service was dismal and the prices laughable. We won't be returning.
