Such a great place! With a strange paucity of takeout Chinese, Soi7 has filled that spot nicely for us. Not that this resembles standard take out fare in any way. The food here is AWESOME! But they do have take out and delivery that we take advantage of.

Great Thai food in the heart of downtown Los Angeles in between the bars, restaurant and fashion district. The food isn't that spicy either unless you want it to be. The service and people are great!

I had an opportunity to try a lot of the food here with a group of friends. Appetizers were ok: the beef salad was extremely salty but decent, the coconut shrimp was expensive but decent, chicken wings were on the small side, the soups however were pretty good (Tom Kha, Tom Yum). Entrees wise, the Pad Thai with crab and shrimp, Yum! lots of shrimp, very little crab but everything tasted pretty good. Green curry was sweet but it tasted really good nonetheless. Rice is separate but it tasted really soothing. Crying Tiger is basically a flank steak seared and served with rice. The beef itself was tender and fairly flavorful. Service was good but parking was non-existent (Downtown LA).
