Sandrina's is located in an historic building constructed in the mid-19th century. Once used as a ten mile house, it has always given people the opportunity to have a drink or two and a good meal (although during Prohibiton it was a "pharmacy").

Yesterday I went in with a few old buddies and everything was cool at first. Me and my friends were having a great time. At the end I decided to close my account and I spent atleast 35 bucks. I never saw the lady before but when I asked her to close my account she looked at me with glazed, unfocused eyes and told me she thinks I should leave. I thought maybe she misunderstood me or maybe I wasn't loud enough so I said it again and louder. She said I should leave again. I asked her was she drunk? She was slurring her words and unbalanced. Then she said it again and I just went to the guy behind the counter. I asked him could he close my account, then he said are you asking or telling me. I was in disbelief. Then a lady stood in and she was nice and just asked me what happened and told me the lady who was drunk, was actually the owner! Working behind the bar stumbling and wasted! I then turned to the guy where he was closing my account where I found out there was a darker skinned black guy who was kicked out earlier because he asked her if she was drunk. The only other black guy in the bar unless she compared me to a few Hispanics who weren't even near my height. I didn't come to the bar to be racial profiled by a drunk business owner! I'm half eastern indian and black, my father's from India, I'm light skinned, I wear glasses, my hair is really curly and wavy! After closing my account I looked over and she was calling the police and I turned to the guy and said is she really calling the police on me? He said don't worry about it, you'll be out before they come! Really!? When I was signing the receipt, he then tried to swindle me for a good tip....I couldn't believe it. The worst part is no one stood in to help. Never coming back again. It used to be a chill spot for me and my old coworkers but those good days are gone!

This is a laid back neighborhood bar. If you're expecting 5 star michelin service go somewhere else. The food is tasty, the drinks are affordable and the staff is friendly. Where else will they let you keep your tab open while you walk home to google hangout with your kids?

Horrible to refuse service to a patron you mistakened for someone else. Then to cover it up instead of apologizing. Bad business equals no business.

**UPDATE** I am sad to have to edit this review, I loved Sandrinas. but last weekend my husband and I had a little date night and decided to go to Sandrinas, and I guess things have really changed since I haven't been there in a few months, but the waitress was so rude to us. First we were told to seat ourselves and a server would be over, which is fine, but then after 15 minutes of sitting there waiting to be served, my husband walked up to the bar to order us drinks and let them know we were ready to order. Another 5-10 minutes past then said rude waitress came over took our order then asked for my credit card. I asked her why, and she said she didn't want us dining and dashing, I gave her my credit card and when she left the party sitting across from us told us that they weren't ask to pay for the food first, what if we didn't like it, how do I know how much to tip without eating taking a bite? The waitress was screwing herself out of her tip with every word. I asked to speak with a manager and another woman came over and said that it is policy that food is paid for first, when the party next to us told her they didn't have to, suggesting that because my husband and I are interracial that we can't afford to pay for our meal! The manager rolled her eyes, I asked her politely to cancel the order and we went across the street to Trophy Room and had a pizza!

My personal favorite bar, love the food and the staff is really great. Their loaded chicken nachos may lurk in my dreams on many nights.

The service has gone downhill. They lost 4 regular customers Saturday night. Like the poster below, we experienced a rude, uncaring staff. My friends and I have been going there for years. We were regular customers who always tipped well and spent heartily. Our experience Saturday was terrible. We won't be going back. Our "waitress" sat and texted, talked to friends and ignored our table the entire time we were there. after taking our initial order, she never came back, anytime we tried to make eye contact she glared at us.Why does your staff hate the customers?. The bartender has a real problem and obviously hates his job and the customers as well. We all agree that this was the worst experience ever. The motto should be "Sandrinas, we hate you"

They always make us feel at home and the food is absolutely amazing! So fresh and the salad with beets is wonderful. We have never had a bad dining experience there and have dined at Sandrina's at least 25 times over the past few years. The chef will come out of the kitchen to make sure you had an enjoyable meal. Bartenders and servers are great. For the late night crowd it is perfect! You can get a real meal at 1am!

Nachos were alright, but the racism left a bad taste in my mouth.

Sandrina's hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
