Yeah, I guess interdependence was the term I was looking for, even if some would say society jumps to "co-dependence". I've never been a fan of simple causality in just about anything, which leads to odd outlooks on problems. Works great in government and poli sci, but less so in harder sciences.+Tony Cave
Prince of Tides, The Sopranos, every Woody Allen movie, the list goes on. Actually, are there GOOD portrayals of therapists in movies? I'm still a student, so I'd love to hear some professional opinions on this. One of the things a couple of my professors have beaten into us is the need to overcome popular media conceptions of therapists: either Freudian looking men with gray beards asking you to lie down on a couch to talk about your mother, or too far the other way.
