We stop in for quick drink and had an awesome breakfast even though it was one o'clock in the afternoon. John was our bar tender he recommended some drinks they were spot on and he even gave us some ideas for sight seeing while we were in the area, he did all that while waiting on others with a smile. Well worth the stop!

The only thing you need here is blackened catfish and scotch. It's amazing.

Had the blackfish sandwich and my husband had the crab cake sandwich, both of which were delicious. Restaurant was really chill, had a great beer selection, and was dog friendly! Definitely would recommend.

We ordered from the evening's specials. The shrimp and grits were OK-- nothing special. However, being from the NC coast I'm use to excellent seafood dishes. My husband had the bbq and chicken special and it was excellent.

Really great food and some really arrogant waiters who are flighty and act like you're wasting their time by speaking to them.

Ok so first off its july!! Why would you have doors open during this time of year and then have the nerve to charge 6+ dollars a drink. Thats all I want sitting in ball soup and enjoying my 12 year scotch. Really, the comfort of your guests should be paramount. On a side note I watched a long haired male bar tender use the water out of his beverage gun to wet his hand and fix his hair!!! WTF!!

Although it was a Sunday and the place closes early I really did enjoy the atmosphere. Huge difference from what I'm used to around the DC area but that's a good thing. People were hanging out and the bartender was extremely friendly and engaging. Once I move down to Charlottesville I look forward to visiting this bar more often.

I would describe this place as new south. Their menu is a bit pricy. I had a lunch special, soup and a coffee and I walked out paying 20 $. The food was grwat though and I loved the atmosphere.
