Hello, I live in Paris and I work in the movie business as a producer, but I'm passionate crazy about photos. It all started 6 years ago when I was on holidays and a designer showed me what you could do with Photoshop to enhance photos, I immediately bought the Canon 350D and did a lot of training to learn photography and retouching. I mainly learned from reading Scott Kelby's books and Matt Kloskowski training over at photoshopuser.com Since then I bought the Canon 5d and 7D and I use Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom 3. I also use Nik software plug in, Photomatix and autopanopro I worked on a project for the last 6 years called "Paris Cinéma", the idea was to take beautiful moments of lights in Paris to give them a movie look. Some of the photos are heavily retouched, some are not at all. All that matters to me is the emotional impact. Lately I started doing portraits compositing. Meaning taking a person on a neutral background and mix that up with a nice background. If you want to know more about my retouching techniques, you can check out my Iphone/Ipad apps on using Lightroom and Photoshop at : Retouching tutorials Iphone/Ipad apps I hope you like what I do if you have any technical questions do not hesite to ask. I still have a lot to learn and share ! Serge

View from San Marco Piazza,

This is a photo I took in Venice at sunset this year.

Here is a simple shot but sometimes you don't need much to set the mood. I like the sunset and the gondolas as a middle and background!

Let me know your thoughts on this picture :-)

Montréal, Canada

Here is a photo of the old part of Montreal around the Vieux Ports.

I was on the walking street looking up for high vintage view from restaurant Terrasse. I found this restaurant called l'Auberge, they had a great view of the walking street, once I was finished I went back down and found some stairs which are probably only for the staff. This was the view, I love the little cloud and sky and at the end of the day this was my favorite photo. The colors and the look reminded me of the comics books I use to read in the 90's of Spiderman. Let me know if you like it! :-)
