Hello, I live in Paris and I work in the movie business as a producer, but I'm passionate crazy about photos. It all started 6 years ago when I was on holidays and a designer showed me what you could do with Photoshop to enhance photos, I immediately bought the Canon 350D and did a lot of training to learn photography and retouching. I mainly learned from reading Scott Kelby's books and Matt Kloskowski training over at photoshopuser.com Since then I bought the Canon 5d and 7D and I use Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom 3. I also use Nik software plug in, Photomatix and autopanopro I worked on a project for the last 6 years called "Paris Cinéma", the idea was to take beautiful moments of lights in Paris to give them a movie look. Some of the photos are heavily retouched, some are not at all. All that matters to me is the emotional impact. Lately I started doing portraits compositing. Meaning taking a person on a neutral background and mix that up with a nice background. If you want to know more about my retouching techniques, you can check out my Iphone/Ipad apps on using Lightroom and Photoshop at : Retouching tutorials Iphone/Ipad apps I hope you like what I do if you have any technical questions do not hesite to ask. I still have a lot to learn and share ! Serge

Day 2 of the workshop in Italy! It is so much fun, I love it! This is a shot I took of the gondolas with the monument in back, I wanted to make a very long exposure to have smooth water and nice clouds.

Just arrived in Paris and got up early to do some photos but no good sunrise, so I played around with Lightroom mobile shooting raw and editing on the spot, when there is no good color I always go black and white, not bad for an Iphone, I get more and more into this Iphone photography.

NYC station, in Broadway. I really loved this view at night on this station, I played with the reflection of the wet floor and I made it quite dramatic. I applied my Ansel Adams technique to make it stand out.
