Hello, I live in Paris and I work in the movie business as a producer, but I'm passionate crazy about photos. It all started 6 years ago when I was on holidays and a designer showed me what you could do with Photoshop to enhance photos, I immediately bought the Canon 350D and did a lot of training to learn photography and retouching. I mainly learned from reading Scott Kelby's books and Matt Kloskowski training over at photoshopuser.com Since then I bought the Canon 5d and 7D and I use Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom 3. I also use Nik software plug in, Photomatix and autopanopro I worked on a project for the last 6 years called "Paris Cinéma", the idea was to take beautiful moments of lights in Paris to give them a movie look. Some of the photos are heavily retouched, some are not at all. All that matters to me is the emotional impact. Lately I started doing portraits compositing. Meaning taking a person on a neutral background and mix that up with a nice background. If you want to know more about my retouching techniques, you can check out my Iphone/Ipad apps on using Lightroom and Photoshop at : Retouching tutorials Iphone/Ipad apps I hope you like what I do if you have any technical questions do not hesite to ask. I still have a lot to learn and share ! Serge

The Photographer series!
This time it is my very good friend @sanguinetti.angel taking a photo of Imperia east side so the light is less nice than in the other photo. I really love the idea of having someone in action in a beautiful landscape scene.
I am having so much fun with this serie and I want to do more of it! Be ready ;-) Hope you like it too!

Place de la Sorbonne.
This is a beautiful little plaza in Paris. I feel like this represent a good scene of a Paris cafe. It was raining before I took the photos so the ground is a bit reflective which is cool. It feels a bit like midnight in Paris. If you have never been to Paris, I advise you to just walk around without a map and get lost, it is the best way to find little places like this or even spots that even parisians are not aware of!

The Photographer in Italy,

I'm continuing my serie of the Photographer, this time I photographed my friend @costarbrile a photographer shooting the city of Imperia in Italy.

The biggest difficulty was to find a place that is toward the west with the city in the background and to position the photographer in a way that she can be noticeable with just sky behind her. Also we had a to climb a barrier and get into a private beach to get this view! This city is great because it is right at the border of France and it is so much cheaper than the French Rivera and as nice if not even better looking.

It is in Montmartre one of the nicest area in Paris. This is la maison Rose a beautiful subject for a photo and I wanted to give it a night mood to it even if it was daylight.

The Photographer serie,
I always wanted to shoot the Abbaye de Senanque, ever since my friend @konig.hannes showed me his photo. As an expert of shooting lavender field at the wrong time of the year, I came there 6 weeks in advance before lavender blossomed. The only problem is that the Abbaye was fully closed so I had to claim this wall (taller than in the photo) to get the a shot of the Abbaye. So in gave me an idea to do another #thephotographer photo for my serie. I love this idea of showing a photographer shooting a landscape, it took me quite a few try but it is an error process and I am learning from it!

Place des Vosges, Paris.
I love this place it is very ancient with a lot of beautiful art galleries. It was pouring rain and so we had very dense clouds which looks very dramatic! I did a youtube video on this look, it is actually a Lightroom preset that I created and used on this photo! Hope you will like the mood!
