Hello, I live in Paris and I work in the movie business as a producer, but I'm passionate crazy about photos. It all started 6 years ago when I was on holidays and a designer showed me what you could do with Photoshop to enhance photos, I immediately bought the Canon 350D and did a lot of training to learn photography and retouching. I mainly learned from reading Scott Kelby's books and Matt Kloskowski training over at photoshopuser.com Since then I bought the Canon 5d and 7D and I use Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom 3. I also use Nik software plug in, Photomatix and autopanopro I worked on a project for the last 6 years called "Paris Cinéma", the idea was to take beautiful moments of lights in Paris to give them a movie look. Some of the photos are heavily retouched, some are not at all. All that matters to me is the emotional impact. Lately I started doing portraits compositing. Meaning taking a person on a neutral background and mix that up with a nice background. If you want to know more about my retouching techniques, you can check out my Iphone/Ipad apps on using Lightroom and Photoshop at : Retouching tutorials Iphone/Ipad apps I hope you like what I do if you have any technical questions do not hesite to ask. I still have a lot to learn and share ! Serge

Sunset over Las Vegas!

This are the fountain of the Bellagio from the @cosmopolitan_lv hotel on the 62nd floor!

It was a very warm day and we had a nice sunset and I wanted to have a different angle on Las Vegas so we went all the way up there, it was not easy for me because I am bit scared of height and so I took 4 shots that I stitched together on post to do this pano. Hope you like it! Let me know if you like!

Walt Disney Concert Hall,
two nights ago I went with some friends to shoot the city hall because they were doing an homage to Batman Adam West; I went back to the Disney concert Hall one of my favorite subject and tried something I never did. I shot 6 photos in bracketing, so a total of 18 photos. I made the panoramas in Lightroom and then used Aurora to do the HDR, I added a little bit of stars as there was a few. I usually don't do deep night photography, but in HDR I like it. Let me know your thoughts on it!

This was a shot I took from the Montparnasse Tower, I took it with my friends during Paris in spring. We were very lucky to have this beautiful and strong sunset, it was even after sunset and there were still a lot of details in the sky. The only thing that is not convenient is that they put big window glass with holes but my tripod is not tall enough so I usually set my camera on the glass to take the photo. What do you think?

Saint Paul de Vence,
This is a photo I took in a small village, it is a very nice and cute village but the sunset was kind of boring so I added some lights here and there, I changed the sky and I basically re-created the light. Let me know what you think!
