Hello, I live in Paris and I work in the movie business as a producer, but I'm passionate crazy about photos. It all started 6 years ago when I was on holidays and a designer showed me what you could do with Photoshop to enhance photos, I immediately bought the Canon 350D and did a lot of training to learn photography and retouching. I mainly learned from reading Scott Kelby's books and Matt Kloskowski training over at photoshopuser.com Since then I bought the Canon 5d and 7D and I use Photoshop CS 5 and Lightroom 3. I also use Nik software plug in, Photomatix and autopanopro I worked on a project for the last 6 years called "Paris Cinéma", the idea was to take beautiful moments of lights in Paris to give them a movie look. Some of the photos are heavily retouched, some are not at all. All that matters to me is the emotional impact. Lately I started doing portraits compositing. Meaning taking a person on a neutral background and mix that up with a nice background. If you want to know more about my retouching techniques, you can check out my Iphone/Ipad apps on using Lightroom and Photoshop at : Retouching tutorials Iphone/Ipad apps I hope you like what I do if you have any technical questions do not hesite to ask. I still have a lot to learn and share ! Serge

The dancer in the wind of the lower Antelope, Page Arizona. This is my favorite one from my shoot there. I retouched it in a way that the girl stand out more and I am pretty happy with the result.

Star trails in Joshua Tree. I shot this in Joshua Tree it is a pretty cool effect to try out. I did a full tutorial on this effect you can check it out on my Youtube Channel. Basically you have to center your photo on the North star.

Pacific ocean. I wanted to try abstract photography, this is the sunset in Malibu, I did a long exposure of 15 seconds so the water and the sun are a bit mixed up.

This is a shot I took in Downtown LA. I waited for the cars to pass on both side to have this light streaks effect that I like. Unfortunately there was no clouds but the attention is more on the leading lines created with the light so it works out. Honestly I think that downtown is the best spot to get this long exposure effect in the Los Angeles area!

View on Paris. Here is the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. I made it a bit dramatic because I had a boring sky, I wanted to create a movie mood.

This is a tree I shot in Florida in the Chesnut park. I didn't know how to get a good composition and so I walked around the tree for a while and then I saw the reflection in the water, then I decided to make it panorama to give more dimension to it. Pretty happy with the result.
