Probably the worst thing I can remember happening. Ever.
On the advice of Lord Monckton - he's marginally worse than Satan in snake form - the Australian mining bosses have started to acquire large sections of the Australian media eg. Fairfax and Channel Ten.
I've just seen the Republic debate argued rather poorly by some not-as-smart-as-they'd-like-to-think Kinross students. Out of curiosity, I'd be keen to get the opinions of my highly-likely-to-be-more-aware/educated friends on here. So yeah, go nuts. Please.
Well why do we really need to have a foreign monarch as our Head of State? Is it really that necessary? Why can we not as Australians be entitled to hold the highest office in our own country? The Queens representative to Australia the Governor General is probably one of the greatest waste of money this country has ever seen. All she does is rubber stamp legislation which the High Court could easily do. She acts as our Commander in Chief of the Defence Forces but yet has no authority over it at all. Pointless. It doesnt take much to change to a republic and in any event we can still kick ass in the Commonwealth Games! ;)
It says 'share what's new,' and this really isn't...but it's still cool so I don't really care. Skip to about the 7th minute and watch until the end, Casey Bennetto is awesome. Tim Vine on Spicks and Specks (Part 2)
I figured I should start pulling my post weight a bit more, and was wondering how many people would be interested in some music theory-related blog posts. If I was to do this, how many people would actually be interested and/or read it?
Guitar, cello, bass guitar. If I'm in Orange next year (ie when I don't get excepted by VCA, Sydney Con or ANU for a BMus) I'm also taking up accordion and double bass.
Haha well exams finish Thursday, and then my entire life will be dedicated to music (and virtually nothing else) for the next month, so consider it done. Details?

I'm Jordan White.
Music is my life - although there are other things I love, myself being a primary example. In all seriousness, there aren't many things I love more than interacting with people on an emotional level, through friendship or music.
