This ad is trying to communicate that its creator doesn't like his job or hisindustry, cares nothing for the client he is paid to promote, and doesn't care if he uses his client's money for an obvious criticism of the advertising business which is boring and obnoxious. The least that "creative" advertisers can do as they sell product is to be endearing and entertaining like Doyle Dane & Bernbach for Volkswagon and Levy's Rye Bread, and whoever created the Chiquita Banana jingle and animation. Face it, either we put up with advertising or pay for media ourselves. This from an ex-major Ad agency copywriter.
