It is not often that I feel the need to take my time to give anything or anyone the praise that I have for this place. I want to mention names; the manager Adam went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that my wife and I were happy and comfortable. We were guests at this hotel from Dec 8th - Dec 14th of 2014. The kitchen manager Andrew, was so pleasant and friendly. Once he became aware of our presence, he never hesitated to take time to come and not only speak, but conduct friendly conversation. I am a minister and tend to talk a lot, Andrew was never in a rush, he listened to my sometimes babbling conversation very patiently. I want to thank Jose, Jose, James and Juan in the 1800 restaurant. James has been with this company for 32 years or more. I believe that Juan has been with them for 22 to 25 years. That alone speaks in volumes. I am not done yet, I must mention the valets, Juan and Donte, it just doesn't get any better. And last but certainly not least, I must give the biggest honor to a young lady that put up with my complaints, questions, joys and anything else that I was experiencing while staying at this wonderful facility, and that is Ms. Candice at the front desk. Please believe me when I say this young lady bent over backwards to accommodate us and make our stay a stay to remember, and that it was in the most pleasant way. My name is Kenneth Jones, and my wife is Shirley Jones. We are from Cleveland Ohio. If anyone reads this and stays at this hotel, please look for those named above , and let them know that the Jones family sent you. Thank you Hyatt Regency Schaumburg for such a fine staff, and such a wonderful stay.

The room is clean. The bathroom is tiny, and the room is designed badly since there's plenty of empty space they could have used for enough clearance to open and close the door without taking out someone's knees on the toilet. To add to that joy, you pay for internet - 9.95 per day. How is it places that charge a 1/3 that they do here can afford free wifi, while here they charge? It's not as if there's other amazing benefits to balance that out. We will not be staying here again unless forced to by work. We'll be informing our workplace of these issues as well so they choose a better location for future conferences.

I enjoyed my stay, everything you expect from a Hyatt hotel, but I especially love that they have an on-site The UPS Store, very convenient. The store did all of my printing for my meeting and I also had equipment delivered to the hotel with no problem. The UPS Store had my printed material and equipment waiting for me in my meeting room. Anything extra I had to take back home I just shipped it out at The UPS Store. Love it!

Poor interiors (even though they looked current.) Bathrooms were too small (and terribly designed) and there was no place to unpack your luggage (most places have at least a dresser or fold out to prop your luggage so you can unpack.) There was a desk/dresser but the tv was on that. There was also a closet/dresser and the coffee maker was on that. Save your money and find a business class hotel with better amenities.

Enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg. We loved the indoor pool and our rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable. We took a trip to celebrate our grandbabies birthdays, three generations of our family spent the night and were very pleased with this hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at your restaurant , the waiters were very attentive to our dining needs. Jose surprised our 4 year old grandson with special Mickey Mouse birthday pancakes. Based on our experience, we would recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning.

Every aspect of this hotel meets or exceeds expectations. The staff is highly qualified, universally polite and courteous, and customer service oriented. The Desk folks are helpful, thoughtful, and always greet you with a smile. The pools are perfect; wifi top notch, and the atmosphere is highly desirable. Unless you are an anal retentive prima donna, you'll really enjoy your stay here. The location is superb with too many great restaurants to choose from. Oddly enough, there are an equal number of top notch fast food places for the budget conscious.

Really nice hotel, but $10 for wifi?! Come on...

I've given this hotel several chances and the experience hasn't changed. First off, the in-room internet connectivity is horrid. Wireless is the only option, and you essentially have stand by the door to get a decent signal. I've stayed in rooms all over the hotel and this is always the case. I'm serious, it sucks bad. If you want to work online from the desk or the bed you'll be cursing. Online calls with on and offshore teams? No way, have to use cell phone. Second, as mentioned in other reviews, the room service is very inconsistent and unprofessional. The bathrooms are ok, but unless you relocate the roll you have to be a contortionist to get to the toilet paper which is nearly 180 degrees behind the toilet. The other room furnishings are a crap shoot. The room I just checked out of today had broken lamps, table tops bubbling and peeling from moisture and wear, and mildew and mold all between the panes in the window, so much that I could barely see outside. In addition, if you like to have the TV going in the background while you're at the desk doing stuff, keep in mind that it's not in the background - it's in the foreground a little more than a foot from your face. Oh, and the only parking lot is conveniently placed on the other side of the convention area, which you have to walk through every time on the way in and out. Personally, I think there have got to be better options in the area and that's what I will seek next time. I'm usually not one to complain, but this place needs a wake-up call.
