Working with fellow designer, Michelle Gonnella and a group of volunteers, I had the pleasure to create this restful, healing sanctuary for another Lin's Linens sister. It is at an honor to work with this organization and we also make new friends along the way! If you'd like to volunteer or donate please check us out. www.linslinens.org http://ow.ly/i/DKdwX

So excited to be in Design NJ again! They asked about favorite window treatments and this was one of mine. The client wanted something uniquely feminine to coordinate with the hair-on-hide chairs and gold flecked ceiling. The beaded embroidered overlay sheer added a bit of sparkle to the simple taffeta tuxedo panels. #creatingcozyhomesforbusyfamilies

Noticed lots of gold at Las Vegas Market - from accessories to lighting to furniture details like edge banding and drawer pulls. Love it! #interiordesign #interiors #design #flashesofdelight #pursuepretty #lovelysquares #livecolorfully #prettylittlething #decor #architecture #CreatingCozyHomesforBusyFamilies

One of my favorite design styles - Art Deco seems to be upstaging the industrial look that’s been so popular the last few years. The glamour of the 20’s and 30’s is influencing furniture design in a big way. Art Deco just happens to be one of my favorite styles – the combination of geometric forms, rich colors and expensive materials is so very chic. Bar cabinets are all the rage right now and these gorgeous bar cabinets are stunning! Both done in beautiful lacquer finishes with brass trim and hardware. Lighted and mirrored interiors and center pullouts for drink preparation adds to their functionality. Aren't they showstoppers? #aandjinteriors #creatingcozyhomes #interiordesign #exter#postitfortheaesthetic #homedecor #luxury #homestyling #interiorinspo #homeandliving #passionforinterior #windowcoverings #windowtreatments #decor #homedecor http://ow.ly/i/v6mVl http://ow.ly/i/v6mWJ

The color palette for my next Lin's Linens project. This Sister loves the tropics and her favorite color is Calypso Blue by SW - the inspiration for this room. Very excited to be working with Team Love - a group of women who are donating their time to create this healing sanctuary for a very deserving woman suffering from cancer. You can learn more about this wonderful organization here... http://ow.ly/CxFf30bJjiT

One of my favorite clients...you may recognize some of the pieces. We decorated her house in Basking Ridge back in 2015 only to find out she was getting transferred to West Chester, PA. We aren't quite done with this house, we still have the kitchen window treatments and the basement media room to do, but I love the way it came out and so does she!

Simple, elegant, and understated - this room is filled with wonderful reupholstered family heirlooms and antiques.  For extra seating, a fabulous Hancock and Moore velvet sofa was selected.   We didn't want the window treatments to interfere with the lovely architecture and views of the NYC skyline.  The box pleat valances mimic the squares in the coffered ceiling and the beautiful cream colored fabric just softens and frames the windows.

Update...my client sold her house in two weeks!
One of my recent projects. My client purchased this home in August and right after we started working together she found out she was being transferred! The home still had builder's white paint everywhere and metal blinds on the windows! To increase the value of the house, she went forward with the majority of the design plans and furniture purchases for staging purposes. We scaled down the window treatments in some of the rooms since she wouldn't be taking those with her. She was very happy with the results, as was her realtor. The house was listed this weekend so I'm using the realtor's photos as I don't have a wide angle lens. I'm posting some of the before pictures that demonstrate what a difference paint can make!
