Introduction
Besides keeping up with friends, my interests on Google+ include (read my circles):
If you would like to be added to one of these circles let me know via email or any other method you can find (FYI, I'm not yet fluent in smoke signaling).

My next goal is to connect with some avid trout and salmon anglers.

Good start to the morning :(

My daughter is taking it well.

Hopefully with a little help from Amazon and ifixit this will be forgotten in a week or so.

My daughter and I had fun today at the Amazing Mirror Maze at the MOA. At $8 a person it was a little expensive, but if you get your hand stamped you can go back in for $2.

If you go, go early like we did. The guy running the maze said you have the best experience when the mirrors are clean and there's nobody else in the maze, but I could see where it's be really fun to have a bunch of friends go in at the same time.

I took some video, but decided not to post it because they have better videos at their website:  http://www.mallofamerica.com/attractions/view/amazing-mirror-maze

I found this fortune in my junk box today. Good advice, probably why I saved it.

Awesome!

Although they say the new nucleotides break down in a few days outside of the lab is a problem, I think it's actually an opportunity for precisely controlling the spread of these organisms. Imagine targeted medical therapies, oil eating bacteria that disappear after they aren't needed, etc.
For possibly billions of years, the DNA blueprints for life on Earth have been written with just four genetic "letters" -- A, T, G and C. On Wednesday, scientists announced that that they added two more.

I got a letter from our bank today. It had "ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PRENOTIFICATION" in all caps at the top. Basically my wife's work is going to make a change to her account and they had to be told ahead of time that they are going to be notified about it.

Only a bank (or possibly the government) would need to be notified that it is going to be notified and then send a prenotification (spell check doesn't even recognize the word) acknowledgement to a third party.

What's next a Pre-acknowledgement of Notification?

It's really funny watching my dog sleep with her eyes open.

People who don't own pets might not realize we are the freaks because we DON'T have a third eyelid like most other animals.

Woo hoo Kit-kat arrived for my Nexus 4. Strange though, that it hasn't for my daughter's Nexus 7.

Pumpkins are carved.

Funny thing, my daughter is allergic to pumpkin. She gets an itchy rash where it touches her skin.
