Woodman's has everything. Their organic selection is the best in the area. Their prices are also the best. The employees are also so friendly and helpful. I never shop anywhere else.

My husband and I drive to Woodmans in Rockford from Rochelle, IL to get grocerys every payday. We love it , even with the cost of gas the drive is worth what we save on our grocery bill. For example: we buy Michelina dinners for our work day lunch and we save an average of .79 cents or more each over the stores here in Rochelle that is $15.00 + every trip!! We love the variety that Woodmans has you can find anything you could possibly want. The only time we go to grocery store or Wal-mart in town is if we are missing something for what we are making that day or the next. Thank you for a great store, we are woodmans customers for life. Everything. Woodmans is great. I guess I've never had an issue because I spend actual money. It's sad that people use this forum to promote ignorance and laziness. I'm just as annoyed as the workers supposedly are that we get to pay for your food stamps. You complain about the old least they have a job. I've been going here since it has opened and have never had a bad experience. From the employees or the selection of food.

I have found several employees of the Rockford Woodman's to be extremely prejudiced against customers who use "food stamps" (i.e., the LINK card). Typically, those employees ignore me when I say hello. I have found the middle-aged or older baggers to be the worst, although I overheard one of the store's managers tell a customer that people on food-stamps have the appearance of being lazy--not looking for a job when they should be. When in another local grocery store, I mentioned this to another customer, who replied, "Yeah, there is a lot of that over there," meaning that Woodman employees have a reputation for being against entitlement programs. Unfortunately, that facet of the local culture has become infused in both managers and non-supervisory employees at the local Woodmans. What a contrast from the two Woodman's in Madison!

I shop there every time I need groceries. In all Honesty, My entire family does. My father, my brothers, my mother, and me. Woodman's has the best prices, and the best overall and wide selection. Some certain foods, or odds and ends, That I can't normally find at Aldi's or Logli's, I can always find at Woodman's. Sure Walmart probably has the same great selection, But I hate Walmart. Its always over crowded there, and Not to mention its a business monopoly. Woodman's has the same great prices as Walmart, but Woodman's functions out of the USA, not China like Walmart. Like I said, It has the best prices. If you shop at Logli's, the same amount of food you buy would be 250$, and at Woodman's it would only be 150$ or 200$. Its great when buying small or large quantities of groceries. I'm also a sushi fanatic. And Woodman's sushi is the cheapest in town, and just as delicious. Where I pay 10$ to 15$ for one sushi roll (10 or 12 pieces) at a japanese restaurant, I pay only 6.50$ or maybe 7.50$ ( 10 or 12 pieces) at Woodman's. I love Woodman's and I'd be very upset if it ever left Rockford. I recommend it.
