Chain of full-service supermarkets (some with movie rentals & gas-station services).- Google
"They carry things not sold elsewhere at very reasonable prices."
"I'm also a sushi fanatic."

Woodman's has everything. Their organic selection is the best in the area. Their prices are also the best. The employees are also so friendly and helpful. I never shop anywhere else.

I have found several employees of the Rockford Woodman's to be extremely prejudiced against customers who use "food stamps" (i.e., the LINK card). Typically, those employees ignore me when I say hello. I have found the middle-aged or older baggers to be the worst, although I overheard one of the store's managers tell a customer that people on food-stamps have the appearance of being lazy--not looking for a job when they should be. When in another local grocery store, I mentioned this to another customer, who replied, "Yeah, there is a lot of that over there," meaning that Woodman employees have a reputation for being against entitlement programs. Unfortunately, that facet of the local culture has become infused in both managers and non-supervisory employees at the local Woodmans. What a contrast from the two Woodman's in Madison!

Everything. Woodmans is great. I guess I've never had an issue because I spend actual money. It's sad that people use this forum to promote ignorance and laziness. I'm just as annoyed as the workers supposedly are that we get to pay for your food stamps. You complain about the old least they have a job. I've been going here since it has opened and have never had a bad experience. From the employees or the selection of food.
