I've almost finished the Treehouse PHP tutorials, and was wondering, what first project can I undertake to apply what I've learnt?

I don't want anything too difficult, but something I can get my teeth into that will make me track back and check my notes of you know what I mean.

Build a basic wordpress theme that;s how I learned it. Then build a crazy one that's how you learn more.

To any beginner web developers out there wondering what to learn first, PHP or jQuery: Go PHP first, I choose PHP after trying to decide for a while and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.

Probably obvious to you more experienced guys, but it might help someone.

I see lots of sites using frameworks for doing simple things. And then you get it so your visitors not only have to download jQuery but also the plugin files that you apparently need for the eye candy they want. I've not played with frameworks for a few years but when I did I prefer the likes of prototype as the way you used it was more like standard JavaScript.

Anyone know of any good dungeons, bandit camps, tombs etc. that are good for slaying? I'm trying to level up my vampire.

Try pinewood I think it is north of falkreath it is a ordinary cottage with bandits in but with a secret passage there is a treasure room guarded deep in the bandit camp, that's all I'm saying.

Such a beautiful site +Jason Hess yeah in time I hope I'll be creating websites of that calibre. Another cool thing about getting into JavaScript first is that I'll be able to start using HTML5's canvas, I'm comfortable using most of HTML5 but not the more advanced features, and arguably the more exciting ones. Looking forward to creating stuff like this http://tympanus.net/Tutorials/InteractiveTypographyEffects/index2.html

+Monty Rasmussen I'm pretty sure Dart is client only, since it was supposed to be a replacement forJavascript In the browser. If it runs server-side then I'd imagine it's something like nodejs does server side for Javascript. Am I wrong?

Awesome Skyrim map, I have my Xbox next to my PC so I have this up when I'm playing.

Lol thanks Nathan, but I'd still rather have a high end PC running Skyrim, the graphics are outstanding, Xbox graphics occasionally look rough as toast! (But I'll probably still buy the XboxOne)

Yeah it's completely responsive, +1 to the devs for that.

Ah man, I just got Auriel's bow and it does less than half the damage of both my crossbow and Daedric bow.

Same Jak, it's not as if they have to balance it too much because there's no multilayer. So 100 damage would have been spot on in my eyes.
