The beds were comfortable, and the room was nice. It is an amazing resort. The breakfasts and lunchs were delicious, and their spa services were fantastic. I would definitely go back if I could afford it.

I'm a huge fan of the Omni properties and this recent addition to their portfolio is no exception. Nestled in the middle of acres of golf courses and walkways, it's an extremely relaxing place to spend a night or two and completely switch off from real life. The spa is excellent, and the fitness center is the best I've ever come across in a hotel (something like 11,000 square feet in size) and there are plenty of activities on site to lose yourself. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds and all the amenities. As usual, the excellent Select Guest program provides for complimentary wifi, morning beverages, shirt pressing and other welcome extras. My only minor gripe would be that the food in their casual lounge is a little lackluster and the Starbucks cafe really needs some updating on the food offerings. Still, these small points aside, I could happily spend all day in one of pools or just walking around this tranquil little spot. I'm looking forward to seeing more Omni updates in the hotel but so far so good - can't wait to come back!

Next to the country club so there are a lot of older aged people! A great place to go for a get away! They have amazing pools (One indoor and outdoor) & an amazing jacuzzi! The food is not the best, esp. the sea food. But besides that the location is great, relaxing & the resort/view is beautiful!

The neck/shoulder massage I got here was one of the best I've ever had. Ask for Greg! he's a miracle worker. The mimosas while you wait are a nice perk. You also have access to their pool, gym, spa, etc. while you are there too for the day. A great way to reenergize.

Barton Creek came recommended to my friends and I for a girls getaway for it's spa services. We all felt like it was definitely overrated. The hotel and spa could use some updating. We got room service and our food arrived wrong and cold but the hotel did comp their mistake, no questions asked. All of us got massages and had weird experiences with our therapist. It was not relaxing to say the least. However the customer service from every staff member was outstanding. You just expect better quality from such an expensive hotel and spa.

I really like the rooms. I like it that the resort is in the hills. Whenever we drive there, we get to enjoy the nice views of the hills. One thing I don't like is that the rooms don't have fridges, but overall this is a very good place to have a vacation.

Looks like the new owners of Barton Creek are TRYING to make it work, but from the looks of things it is going to take a lot of money to restore the resort back to what it was when Club Corp owned it. Service this trip was questionable with the attitude of the front desk and the golf attendance. Everything we looked at there was in need of repair needed to the rooms. For a resort the outdoor pool was dinky. And of course, the prices for everything was off the chart too high for what you got. The price of golf was way to high. SO, overall, the BC is located in a great part of Texas, but there are much better Golf Resorts near by that I'll spend my money at until Omni can get its act together.
