Light a candle for special someone and view candles left by others. Every day thousands of people from all over the world light candles here. Individuals or groups can light virtual candles together. Share your candle with friends, start a candle group or create your own candle memorial...

A lovely field trip brought me to Vezzolano Abbey in Albugnano Asti. The combination of limestone terracotta and brick makes it surprisingly welcoming considering the austerity of its era. A beautiful cloister accompanies you...

Working on wooden boards. It's not the same as a walk on the beach, but as a decorator I am the last one using the scaffolding, so if you love what your doing, it is a bit like being on holiday. A home away from home. You beg...

Agreed,  ruins or fragments of ruins are fascinating and these paintings are lovely.
I feel a fascination about ruins since I was a child. My first career wish was to become an archaeologist, but my parents wouldn´t allow me to travel to the faculty in La Plata, there was no freeway in those days and maybe I would have to move from my parents´ house, not a habit in the Argentine ...

I have had a the opportunity to visit the spa, do the floatation, get a face massage, sleep on mosaic covered warmed beds and, my favourite part, boil in their massive hydro-massage pool. Just one visit and you will be hooked. There are outdoor gardens and a lovely glass covered restaurant area. Heaven on earth. All staff very friendly and professional, not with-standing my sister who works there!
