Can't play Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata?  Now you can.  This is kind of addictive (headphones or speakers required).

http://touchpianist.com/
Touch Pianist is a musical toy / instrument that allows the user to perform hard-to-play classical piano music favorites (from composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Satie, Debussy to name a few) just by tapping the rhythm of the piece's particular sound events on a computer keyboard or a touch screen.

I'd have paid to be in Charlie Parr's audience a few days ago...
Charlie Parr, a self-taught guitarist from Duluth, Minnesota, performs blues and country.

Apparently this anti-Redskins commercial will air during Tuesday’s NBA finals. Good.

Someone emailed me to tell me that urban beekeeping should be outlawed because bees are a pest to cats. I responded by shooting a short video of the one hive I keep in an urban area.

It seems that most of the FISHING WITH JOHN episodes are on YouTube now. Does the series fall into the So Bad It's Good category? Perhaps. All I know for certain, watching Tom Waits turn green with sea sickness -- that's gold.

Yeah, we've all read the lists of writing tips -- "Write every day," "Read every day,," etc. -- and this one isn't much different. But it's entertaining.

I still have my great unfinished novel (all 6 starts) packed in the garage along with a bunch of "poetry" I wrote way back when (I was in my Kerouac stage).

I'd have a higher opinion of Game of Thrones if this was the theme song.

Fantastic. And I already have a high opinion of GoT.

Have you watched Fargo on FX? That show and the new season of Louie are the best things on TV these days in my never humble opinion.

Every use of a gopro is a good use of a gopro. Eating a donut? Put a gopro on the donut. Tying your shoes? Gopro.
