Can't play Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata?  Now you can.  This is kind of addictive (headphones or speakers required).

http://touchpianist.com/
Touch Pianist is a musical toy / instrument that allows the user to perform hard-to-play classical piano music favorites (from composers like Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, Satie, Debussy to name a few) just by tapping the rhythm of the piece's particular sound events on a computer keyboard or a touch screen.

+Fred Bradbury, your opinion needs an adjustment, IMO. 😉

No burnt percolator coffee ever compared to Starbucks French Roast. When I lived outside Berkeley, I became a Peet's addict. But it doesn't taste the same. I'm not sure if the coffee has changed or my palate has. But Starbucks French Roast is very good.

An interactive panorama of the night sky from the surface of Mars. A similar night sky can be seen from Earth in places far from city lights.

I'd have a higher opinion of Game of Thrones if this was the theme song.

Fantastic. And I already have a high opinion of GoT.

Have you watched Fargo on FX? That show and the new season of Louie are the best things on TV these days in my never humble opinion.

Chickens!  Chickens!  I've been looking all over the web for chickens.  That big yellow one is kind of weird, though.

A dog video that's been making the rounds that'll probably make you cry, if you like dogs.

I'd have paid to be in Charlie Parr's audience a few days ago...

Apparently this anti-Redskins commercial will air during Tuesday’s NBA finals. Good.

Someone emailed me to tell me that urban beekeeping should be outlawed because bees are a pest to cats. I responded by shooting a short video of the one hive I keep in an urban area.

Here's the sculptor's website:

Here's some info on the nearly-complete sculpture that's in most of the photos:

That's pretty much all I know.
