Bad attitude there. The answer to query on hours of "Read the sign" is just rude. Nothing more nor less - just rude. I'd actually find reading the sign really hard - I dont see so well these days. Well - congratulations - you've made the visually impaired person feel bad about themselves. I wont be back.

Great place, knowledgable staff, safe space. Completely volunteer run, so everyone involved must be commended for their commitment.

Very cold/rude staff. I was in the area one night about a month ago and thought I'd pop in just to see what the set-up was like. The moment I entered I was told "We're not open. You can't be in here". This seemed odd to me since it was early evening on a weekday and there was 3-4 other people talking amongst themselves (I now assume they were staff) AND the front prison-cell style security gate was wide open. When I asked what their hours were I was told "Read the front window". I am somewhat happy to read via these reviews that I'm not the only person who won't even think about ever returning. I'm now happy to bring my business to Liberty Cycle instead.

Very very rude people here... I went on a sunday and was happy for a shorter wait time without males around, but the women on staff were unbearable. When I asked for some duck tape to cover a mark on my bike, one girl just snapped "paint it". I moved on but when I needed help a second time, the girls all seemed to be avoiding me, or else never looked me in the eyes when they spoke to me. I got frustrated and intercepted their conversation with a polite "excuse me, can you help me", and they all gave me what I can only describe as b*tch faces. When I went other times, the males working seemed friendly, so maybe its just a clique thing.

I wouldn't have been able to build my bike otherwise. I'm really grateful for the volunteers' help there.

This place is just great! I've needed a repair space more than a few times in the last little while and Bike Pirates has proven a great place to go. The volunteers I have had the pleasure to deal with have been really helpful and easy to talk to. There seems to be no shortage of interest in volunteering either, as there are usually more than a few on hand to provide instruction. I'm looking to build a bike come the spring and I'm excited to go back to there to do it.
