Beautiful restaurant with super professional staff, all in blue and white like the house itself. The brunch menu was quite nice and they had fantastic pastries and coffee available. I would recommend trying the curry chicken salad sandwich!

For a faux- upscale place they pretend to be, the people working there are terribly patronizing in their attitudes. Very snooty and have had inefficient service from them 3 times in a row now. For the price they ask, they need to have better staff. Plus totally not child friendly. In fact, our friends had the most awful experience when they went there with their 4 year old. The host was rude to them and they left without even finishing their meal.

"May I always feel how I feel when I'm about to eat cake." A quote I heard on a Moth podcast sums up Josephine House entirely. Clean bright whites make the place feel as fresh and crisp as the prosecco in your hand. Enjoy a glass on the lawn or in one of the cozy nooks in the back. This is where you go when you want to show off your Sunday best or just feel good. Take a moment and a breath as you repeat the mantra above while taking your first bite of chocolate cake.

Great food and great drinks made by the best bartenders in one of my favorite local spots. So glad they are in the neighborhood.

Went here for brunch, it was an incredibly wonderful experience. We were seated in a shaded alcove outdoors on a bright sunny day. We ordered orange and a grapefruit mimosa, definitely choose the grapefruit over orange. My girlfriend is always right. Errr, she just made me write that. We got the huevos rancheros and Nicoise salad, both of which were absolutely fresh and delicious. Even the sourdough bread with butter tasted fresh from the oven and impossibly delectable. For dessert, we had a chocolate cake (I don't remember the fancy name for it) with vanilla ice cream which was also delicious and just the right amount. Overall, the experience was incredibly positive and the service staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend for brunch.

This review is regarding brunch. They do pancakes really, really well. The delicious sweet potato pancakes with pecans were incredibly light and fluffy in texture, yet rich in flavor. The pancakes are perfect for sharing and then getting another savory dish to balance them out. We also had the "breakfast" burger, which is to say a burger with an egg-over-easy on top. All the burger ingredients were high quality, including the fresh baked bun. The zucchini carrot bread was good, but the accompanying marmalade really enhanced it. Coffee is French Press or Americano. The adorable house-turned-restaurant makes for a very pleasant venue, and there are nice options for outdoor patio or picnic-style seating as well. Parking is a challenge as there are only three spots, so you are left on your own to find a spot in the surrounding neighborhood.

Delicious plates. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Great for brunch. It is a less formal version of Jeffrey's but still held to the quality of Jeffrey's.
