Made reservations for 8:00pm, table was a little delayed so we waited in the bar. Great service from the back wait staff! After we were concerned about our table, they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and enjoyed our time there. Food was excellent, front house staff was very friendly, our server was great too! I'm sure this location is busy from open til close, but it is worth the wait. We will be going back

Reasonably priced sushi and great quality. Service was amazing and fast. Server had a good knowledge of the sake and made a spot on recommendation for me. The couple intermediate rolls I had were good but I've had better versions, the salmon roll was absolutely amazing, definitely stood out to me.

Sushi isn't bad, but is not worth the price. I know Boulder is an expensive town, but I know when I'm being hustled too. Staff is a little pretentious, and when I visited seemed like they were rushing me out. Sake and beer is overpriced. It's not all bad though. Sitting outside enjoying sushi and people watching on Pearl St is pleasant.

From the dozen or so experiences we have had, my orders have always been wrong in somewhat, and delivery is upwards of almost 2 hours at the mid afternoon, which is mostly unacceptable. My sushi arrives warm and wrong. For the most part we have found that the appetizers are nothing special in flavor and on par with something from applebees or chili's which is disappointing. The sushi itself is pretty decent if you eat inside and can get it fresh, and the variety of Sushi rolls is one of the best things about this place, having a roll for almost every possible combination and pallet. We have experienced a time or two where the sushi we got tasted very not fresh and we ended up not eating it, but that was only a couple times out of the dozen times we've tried. Overall if you want average level Sushi at decent prices, this is a good place to go. If you are used to exceptional sushi bars with higher class meals this might not suit your desires.

By far best sushi in Boulder! And the management/servers are awesome, always super friendly, attentive, and helpful. I come here every year for my birthday and I see a ton of familiar faces, the community here at Hapa really adds to the overall experience and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Hapa sushi Boulder CO I love this place and have been coming here for years—the sexy names for their original sushi dishes are a delight. I have to ask for “a multiple orgasm please.” The ambiance is young, dynamic, family friendly and sophisticated. Great music. Staff are sweet and helpful; sometimes burdened with crowds and waitlists at this most popular Boulder eatery, they always maintain a warm friendly co-operative spirit. The beef teriyaki is excellent as is edamame, chukka salad, and all the outrageously named sashimi items. There are a few unusual deserts that are also delicious especially when hungry and cold! Thank you Hapa!

Great happy hour. One thing to watch out for: the standard Philadelphia roll is called the Pittsburgh roll here. Their Philadelphia roll has cooked salmon in it instead. Only con was there was a DJ in the back that played his music super loud and we had to yell to maintain conversation across the table

These guys get 4 stars for the Multiple Orgasm Roll. It is one of the most delightful things I've ever eaten in my life. Service is always good here, no matter how busy they are, but the rest of their menu is pretty standard stuff that we can get elsewhere (we don't live in Boulder). We come for the Multiple Orgasm Roll. Food always tastes fresh and looks beautiful. I've been here for happy hour too, and it's probably the best happy hour around.
