To use Story Points or not?
So you are in this agile transformation but, hell, you’ve been doing this for years and things like Story Points just do your head in. Surely by now we have something better? Maybe. The obvious thing to replace story points is measuring throughput or cy...

You agile people sure are a bunch of assholes
A couple of weeks ago I saw this tweet. "Well they just don't understand the values of #Agile ..." Yeah, because companies are selling this. pic.twitter.com/aEQz4fDi5X — Melissa Perri (@lissijean) November 30, 2016 I can understand Melissa's sentiment; the ...

A heartfelt thank you for this. Far too often the so called agile 'community' is way too quick to criticize - Remember we are all in this agile place together and aren't we all here to make our customers and colleagues better through continuous improvement? Unfortunately this isn't the only poor example of peer bashing I have witnessed but we need people to speak out - and thank you for being the one to do it.

How many people have done agile training in Australia?
I was wondering this in the context of another problem. And this is what I came up with. I went to Scrum
Alliance to see how many certified scrum people there are in Australia. Their
search gave me a hundred pages of ten people per page. That’s 10,000 certi...

Orderred a burger. Was horrible. Bad meat, dry stale bun. Left uneaten. When raised with staff was told "we don't usually get complaints" and that was it. Nice place to sit in the sun and have a beer, but the food was very ordinary including the other meals we bought. Two out of three went uneaten.

Service okay. Food not good.

Poor coffee, food cold by the time it hit the table, an hour to wait for a meal. Dirty plates stacked on tables. All of this with only ten tables on a Sunday morning. Do yourself a favour and head further for a better experience. Staff seem inexperienced and overwhelmed by what any decent team would handle easily.
